May 2012 – Robots
Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. the Dionysium presents its Robot Show.
The Dionysium is very proud to partner with the Fusebox Festival as part of its East Austin road show. For that reason, tickets are available through the Fusebox site and the performance will occur at the TOPS building (1100 East 5th Street, click here for map) instead of our usual location.
Featured performances include:
- A sneak preview of the second installation of The Intergalactic Nemesis (a.k.a. those guys you saw on Conan).
- Dionysium president L.B. Deyo facing off with AI expert Mike Roberts on the question of whether we have to worry about Skynet anytime soon.
- Director Phil Soltanoff speaking about his Fusebox show, An Evening With William Shatner (asterisk).
- A robot-inspired performance by Austin dance troupe, Little Stolen Moments.
- And Pony Trap along with their robot drummer Robot Baby.
